Je ne me rappelle plus quand ni comment je suis arrivée dans cette boutique. Vous savez, Etsy
est une source infinie de magnifiques créations et on peut facilement s’y perdre plusieurs
heures si on ne fait pas attention… C’est sûrement ce qui est arrivé ce jour-là. Je devais
chercher une idée cadeau pour quelqu’un et Pouf! Mon regard a croisé les magnifiques bijoux
de la boutique Sofia Zakia.
Honnêtement je ne suis pas fan de métaux précieux et je ne porte pas beaucoup de bijoux au
quotidien, mais je dois avouer avoir eu un énorme coup de cœur pour ces créations
Montréalaises. J’ai immédiatement été charmée par le mélange incongru des matériaux nobles
et du style mystique, le mélange de luxe et de fantaisie.
La créatrice, Sofia Ajram, est bien connue pour ses photographies oniriques depuis plus de dix
ans. Elle est tombée amoureuse de l'orfèvrerie après avoir découvert l’art du moulage de cire.
Elle procède elle-même soigneusement à toutes les étapes de la création de ses bijoux et ne
choisit que des matériaux éthiques pour les faire.
Sofia a réussi à transposer son univers mythologique et spatial dans ses créations. On y
retrouve plusieurs symboles puissants et magiques qui m'émerveillent chaque fois que je visite
sa boutique. On sent vraiment que chaque pièce raconte une histoire, qu’elles sont toutes
porteuses de magie.
Voici la bague qui a fait chavirer mon coeur et qui m’a attirée dans son univers. Je vous avoue
même avoir précisé à mon chum que si un jour on se mariait, c’est une de ces créations que je
voudrais porter... Vous savez, quand c’est une bague qui vous donne l’envie de vous marier!
Ha ha! J’ai l’impression que jamais je ne pourrais me tanner d’un bijou comme celui-là.
En attendant le grand jour, je suis Sofia sur les réseaux sociaux et je continue d’admirer ses
créations uniques.
I can’t recall when, nor how I came across this shop. As you know, Etsy is an infinite source of
magnificent creations, and we can easily get lost there for several hours, if we don’t pay
attention...this is surely what happened on that day. I had to find a gift idea for someone, and
poof! My eyes met with the magnificent jewelry from the shop Sofia Zakia.
Honestly, I’m not a fan of precious metals, and I don’t wear lot of jewelry everyday, but I must
confess to having had a huge crush on these creations from Montréal. I was immediately
charmed by the incongruous combination of noble materials and the mystical style, the blend
of luxury and fantasy.
The creator, Sofia Ajram, has been known for her dreamy photographs for more than ten
years. She fell in love with goldsmithing, after discovering the art of lost wax casting. She
carefully carries out all the steps of creating her jewelry herself, and only chooses ethical
materials to make them.
Sofia has succeeded in transposing her mythological and spatial world into her creations.
There are many powerful and magical symbols, which bewitch me each time I visit her shop.
We can really sense that each piece tells a story, that they’re all full of magic.
Here’s the ring that I fell in love with and that enticed me into her world. I must admit, I even
told my boyfriend that if we ever get married someday, this is one of those creations that I’d
want to wear...you know, when it’s a ring that makes you want to get married! Haha! I don’t
think that I could ever get tired of a piece of jewelry like this one.
While waiting for the big day, I follow Sofia on social media, and I continue to admire her
unique creations.
